Hello and welcome to my site!
My name is Tom and I've been war gaming since I was a teenager. My current collections are 15mm AWI, 1/2400 Scale WWII Naval, 6mm Moderns and 6mm WWII Aircraft. I created this site to display some of my work and perhaps provide inspiration to fellow modelers. I apologize in advance for some of the poorer quality photos. A photographer I am not. As I complete projects I will post pictures here. I use the ruleset Scramble! by A and A Games. Most of the models are Raiden Miniatures or Heroics & Ros. There are also a growing number of Scotia Miniatures and a sprinkling of Museum Miniatures. All decals are by either Dom's Decals or I-94 Enterprises. All of my current models are for the Pacific Theater up to say December 1942. Once I have completed everything that I'm looking to paint for the Pacific I will move to the Med 1940-42., then France 1940 and last but not least the Eastern Front.

09/21/23: Next group of Greek aircraft are done. While I may be done with aircraft in British schemes for the Meditteranien front, I am not done with British designed and built aircraft for the theatre. These are a trio of Greek Bristol Blenheims. They may be found on the Greece page under the "more" tab. Like a lot of my other models, these are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. I was going to finish out my British produced aircraft with some Fairey Battles, but, I had to get more of a main color half way through, so am working on some different Greek aircraft while I wait for the new paint to arrive.
09/14/23: Well back to my little 1/285 Scale WWII planes. Pictures are up on the Greek tab under the "more" drop down of a nice easy Greek Do. 22. This is a model from Shapeways. I'm working on three more groups of aircraft to complete the Greeks. Next up a trio of Blenheims.
08/20/23: First trio of Ju-88s are completed. Their pictures may be found under the Germany page under the "more" tab. These once again are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. They represent KG 30 on Sicily 1941. I'm now working on the second trio. They will be painted in the same scheme, so there will be no additional pictures for those.
07/31/23: While I may be done with aircraft in British pait schemes for the Mediterranean Theatre, I am not done with British designed or manufactured aircraft. Next up are some GGGs: Greek Glouster Gladiators. These may be found on the Greek page under the "more" tab. Once again these are Raiden Miniatures from I=94 Enterprises. No on to what for now should be my final ACTASF ISC ships.
07/26/23: Next batch of aircraft are almost all done. These are some Greek PZL 24s. These fighters were of Polish design and manufacture. I think that they are a neat looking little aircraft. I painted up 9 of them and the first 4 are done with a second four in the midddle of dulcotong. One still to begin dulcoting. Once again these are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. The pictures amy be found on the Greek page under the "more" dropdown. I am now working on some more Greek fighters.
07/18/23: There was enough break in the humidity yesterday after all of these storms to be able to dulcote the two projexts that I completed this weeken. This first is the final trio of Italian MC. 202s. Once again these are from Raiden Miniatures at I-94 Enterprises. They are painted to represent the 378th Sqaudriglia 51st Stormo Siciliy, Summer, 1942. They may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab.
07/11/23: The second trio of MC. 202s are complete. Once again these are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. Pictures may be found on the "Italian" page under the "more" tab. These are painted to represent the 361st Squadriglia 21st Gruppo, Russia Autumn 1942. I'm now working on the last trio.
07/06/23: Now that the rain has stopped I was finally able to dullcote these. I have completed the first trio of 9 Italian MC. 202s. These are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. They are painted to represent the 91st Squadiglia, 4th Stormo at Campoformido, Italy 1942. These may be found on the Italian page under the "More" tab. I'm still working on thw second trio.
06/25/23: A pretty productive day. I completed my Royal Navy Buffaloes, a T-62 battalion for my Modern Libyans and started the first trio of Italian MC. 202s out of a dozen. The Royal Navy Buffaloes represent 805 Squadron on Crete 1941. They may be found at the top of the Commonwealth page. They are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. I will post pictures of the T-62 battalion on my modern page. These Buffaloes complete my Commonwealth aircraft for the Meditteranean Theatre.
06/24/23: Been a little while since I've posted some new painting. In that time I completed a pair of RAF Beauforts that I'm not posting pictures of as they are very similar to the pictures already on the site. They were to just flesh out my Beaufort contingent. Now up are pictures of an RAF Beauufighters from the trio that I completed. These took a little while to finish due to illness and waiting for the right color to come in for the bottom of the aircraft. They may be found at the top of the Commonwealth page. They represent the 252 Squadron at Idku, Egypt, December 1941. These are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. I'm now working on some Royal Navy Buffalos.
06/01/23: It's been 6 months, but I'm swinging back to painting more WWII aircraft. I'm currently working on some varios RAF aircrafy for the Med. The first that I have complete is a Vickers Wellesley. It may be found on the Commonwealth page. This is a model by MSD Games. I am not working on a couple of RAF Beauforts to flesh out that unit. As these are additional models for the same unit, I will not be posting pictures of these when they are done. As usual all 6mm or 1/285 scale.
12/4/22: The second half of my Italian -79s have been completed. These also may be seen at the bottom of the Italian page under the "more" tab down near the bottom of the page. These are more of the Raiden Miniatures castings. Now on to some ACTASF stuff.
11/29/22: I finished these Italian S-79s about 2 weeks ago, but just didn't have the time to post the pictures and I had lost my painting mojo for a few weeks. These models are by Raiden Miniatures and I have to say that they are just great little gems! In my opinion, my paint job does not do the models credit. The scheme looks much better in the book that I was looking at. This is another plane that I did not realize how big it was. Most likely due to as a kid in the 70s and 80s, you never really saw anything on the Italians. I'm working on 2 more that will be done in a different paint scheme. The pictures are on the Italian page under the "more" tab, down near the bottom as I had painted a Heroics & Ros one years ago(green one).
10/23/22: A horrible anniversary for my Marine Family 39 years ago in Lebanon. Remember the Peace Keepers. I have completed the st half of my RAF Tomohawks. The P-40 is my favorite American fighter of WWII. I get to paint it in so many countries schemes. You will find these pictures under the Commonwealth page. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures and they are a lovely casting. I'm now working on the 2nd half of the squadron.
10/4/22: I have completed a batch of what I believe is probably one of the most recognized aircraft of WWII. On the Germany page you; under the "more" tab, will find pictures of my Ju-87 Stukas. These models are by MSD Games. I have now begun working on a Su-22 for my modern Libyans.
09/30/22: Next I have completed a pair of Ansons for my Greeks. Please see the pictures on the Greek page under the "more" tab. These miniatures are by Heroics & Ros. I am now working on a Mirage F-1 for my modern Kuwaitis.
09/26/22: I have completed a trio of German Ju-52s. I never realized how big the Ju-52 was until I built these models. They are big birds. It's also amazing how close the RLM 71 and RLM72 greens are. I don't know if they stand out at all in the pictures. The picture may be found on the German page under the "more" tab. These models are by MSD Games. I am now working on a Mig-23 for my modern Libyans.
09/16/22: I lost my painting mojo 1/2 way through the final quartet of Spitfires; but it is now back. These are completed in a 1942 Western Europe paint scheme. Once again the models are Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. They may be seen on the Commonwealth page. I have now begun a Puma helicopter for my modern Kuwaitis.
8/5/22: I have completed my second quartet of spitfires and their pictures are now up at the top of the Commonwealth page. On to the last quartet.
7/22/22: Been a little while, but back to painting. When I was younger I hated painting and saw it as a nessacary evil. Now I enjoy it, atleast on easy minis like planes. On the Commonwealth page you will fing my first pictures of the iconic Spitfire. I will be doing a dozen of these in 3 diffeent paint schemes. These are Raiden Miniatures.
5/24/22: Thanks to my good friend Mark Lurz, I have Italian Re. 2001s. He printed these for me as they are not produced comercialy. They may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. I'm now working on a SU-24 for my modern Libyans.
5/21/22: It's been about a month, but back to planes. I always seem to be able to find odd subjects to paint and this addition is one of those. On the Commonwealth page you will find pictures of South African JU-86s. These were usded against the Italians in the Italian East Africa campaign of 1940-41. These models are by MSD Games. I am now workinh on a Kuwaiti A-4 for my moderns.
4/12/22: Keeping with the Recon theme; I completed a German JU-86R High Altitude aircraft. These pictures may be found on the German page under the "more" tab. The highest recorded combat over Europe occured with one of these aircraft over Southampton, UK on September 12th, 1942. A JU-86R was intercepted at 41,000 feet by a Spitfire MK IXc. The combat went as high as 43,000 with the Spitfire being unable to shoot down the German aircraft due to the port cannon of the spitfire freezing and jamming due to the altitude. This is a MSD Games miniature. I have now begun to work on a Libyan Mig-25 for my Moderns.
4/4/22: Now up are pictures of a Soviet Observation 2 seat Hurricane, to be found on the Soviet Union page, under the "more" tab. This is another Raiden Miniatures miniature. I am now working on a Kuwaiti Alloutte III for my moderns.
3/29/22: Under the Commonwealth page you will find my now completed RAF PRU Hurricane. This is another Raiden Miniature. I have pictures to post soon for my completed Modern British Infantry Battalion Transport and Recon Company vehicles. I am currently working on a Libyan Alouette III.
3/27/22: Completed a PRU Spitfire, which is posted on the Commonwealth page. This is a Raiden Miniatures casting. I also completed some ground vehicles for my Modern British and a WWII 1/2400 scale Japanese carrier. The ground vehicles do not complete a unit as I have more to do. I am now working on a Vulcan for my Modern British.
3/22/11: Latest completions are some UK Sea Spitfires. These may be found under the Commonwealth page. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. I am now moving on to a Super Frelon for my modern Libyans.
3/4/22: Last set of G.50s are now complete. These are more Raiden Miniatures and the pictures may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. I have painted these to represent the 355a Squadron in Triana, Albania April 1941. I have now started some CH-46s for my modern Libyans.
3/3/22: The neat thing about Italian aircraft for this period is that it was not unusual for aircraft within the same squadron to have been painted in different various "official" camoflage schemes. So having different painted planes on the table together is accurate! Second trio of G.50s are complete. Please see the Italian page under the "more" tab for pictures. Once again these are Raiden Miniatures. These are painted to represent the 360 Squadron in Noerth Africa, Spring 1940. I have long searched for a miniature for the RE. 2001 and now thanks to Facebook where someone was able to show me https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4021979 , along with a friends 3D printer I now have some. They will appear in the not to distant future.
2/28/22: Fresh off of the painting table is my first of three trios of Italian G.50 fighters. Their pictures may be seen on the Italian page under the "more" tab. These models are by Raiden Miniatures from I-94 Enterprises. One of these is like the MC.200 mentioned in an earlier post. It was purchased about a decade ago when Raiden and I-94 were seperate entities. There are some minor diferences between the older casting and the new ones if you look closely. Both are great! These are painted to epresent the 376a Squadron at Berat Greece November 1940. I'm not sure which is my favorite Italian fighter; the G.50 or the MC200. On to more G.50s.
2/23/22: New WWII aircraft are complete. Under the "more" on the Greece page you will find pictures a a Potez 63-11 in Greek service. These models are by Heroics & Ros and I like them. I now also have completed a RAF Hercules for my Modern British. Pictures for that should be up on that page in a day or two.
2/17/22: Second trio of Italian BR. 20s are done. Their pictures may be seen on the Italian page under the "more" tab. Again these miniatures are by SD Games. They represent the 1a Squadron at Bir Dufar Libya, 1942. I have now started a Mig-25 for my modern Syrians.
2/14/22: For my Italian BR. 20s I will be doing two set of three aircraft for these. The first trio has been completed and their pictures may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. These models are by MSD Games. This trio is painted as the 4a Sqd., Melsbroek, Belgium November 1940.
2/10/22: Latest batch of aircraft are complete. Under the Commonwealth tab you will find pictures of my Sea Hurricanes. These are Raiden models. I have to say that I think that the Hurricane is my favorite British fighter of the war. I have now started working some Italian BR20s.
2/8/22: With a reduction in humidity, I was able to decal and dulcote my British Bostons. The pictures may be found under the Commonwealth tab. The paint scheme is that of 107 Sqd. based at Great Massingham, Norfolk; April 1942. These are another set of Raiden Miniatures. Currently I have a batch of Sea Hurricanes that are almost complete.
2/3/22: As promised the pictures are up on the Italian page under the "more" tab of the last scheme painted for my last quartet of MC.200s. This was the easiest scheme to paint for obvious reasons. These are still Raiden Miniatures. They portray the 85a Squadron Early 1942 in Greece. Still working on my OV-1.
2/2/22: Well after some delays due the carpet being put in, in the basement I fanally have my second quartet of MC200s done. These are Raiden miniatures. Their pictures can be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. This is my favorite scheme of the three that I'm doing. This is for the 382a Squadron July 1942 in the USSR. My third quartet is currenty drying from dullcoting and pictures will be up either later today or tomorrow. I am currently working on an OV-1 for my American moderns.
1/25/22: The first group of my Italian MC.200s is complete. Their pictures may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. The left miniature is by Heroics & Ros; the right miniature is by Raiden Miniatures. I'm not sure which I like better. The H&R one is a little smaler as it is 1/300 scale and the Raiden one is 1/285. Both are nice castings. The H&R one I bought atleast a decade ago when I first was getting interested in WWII aircraft miniatures. I baought it from I-94 Enterprises before they purchaed Raiden Miniatures. The aircraft are painted in a paint scheme fore 373a Sqd. Summer 1941 in North Africa. I have started a second quartet of MC.200s. The rest will all be Raiden Miniatures.
1/22/22: My IL-2s are finished. They may be found on the Soviet Union page under the "more" tab. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures. I have now started my first of 3 quartets of Italian MC.200s.
1/16/22: Well, after a bout with COVID, I am finally back to painting. I have completed my Vichy French DB7s. The pictures are on the Vichy French Page under the "more" tab. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. In addition I have completed some WWII ships and an RAF Canberra for my British moderns. Once it is dry from Dulcoating I will post it's pictures on my Moderns Page. I am now currently working on some Soviet IL-2s.
1/5/22: Another New Year! Well despite the repairs and painting being done in my home I was able to complete a French DB7(for runner of the A-20). The pictures are located on the French page under the "more" tab. The model is another Raiden Miniature by I-94 Enterprises. I have started some Vichy French DB7s, but they have been slowed by all the work in the house and my basement all messed up being painted. Eventually.
12/22/21: Pictures of the last Vichy French MS. 406s are now posted. Again these can be seen on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab. They are at the bottom of the page, top set of MS. 406 photos. These miniatures are also by Raiden Miniatures.
12/21/21: Happy Winter Solstace. After a bit of a break due to the crazyness of the season I have completed the first of my new Vichy French MS. 406s. Pictures can be seen on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab. They are at the bottom of the page, top set of MS. 406 photos. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. The last batch is drying from dulcoating. I am currently working on a RAF Buccaneer for my UK Moderns.
12/2/21: Finally have had time to take pictures of more aircraft that I actually completed last weekend. On the French page under the "more" tab you will find a lesser known French fighter, the C. 714. I have done these up as a squadron that operated these that was piloted by pilots that were Polish Exiles. The miniatures are by Heroics and Ros. I am now working on some more Vichy French MS.406s, to flesh out that squadron.
11/14/21: Hot off the painting table: the second batch of Vichy French 75s. Again these are by Raiden Miniatures and can be seen on the Vichy French Page under the "more tab". I have started working on a Royal Navy Lynx for my modern Bitish.
11/10/21: Happy 246th Birthday to my Brothers and Sisters. The first trio of my Vicht French Hawk 75s are done and their pictures may be found on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab. These miniatures are from Raiden Miniatures at I-94 Enterprises. Am now working on a second trio in a different scheme.
11/6/21: I finished these during the week and only now have had time to post pictures. I have completed a pair od lesser known French fighters. D510s. The French need for fighters was so great that these obsolecent fighters were pressed into service as point defense fighetsr over aircraft factories in 1940. These are MSD Games models and are to be found on the French page under the "more" tab. I am now working on some Vicht French Hawk 75s.
10/18/21: Last batch of the ME. 109s have neen finished and their pictures are up on the German page under the "more" tab. These too are by Raiden miniatures. This is a June 1941 paint scheme so should be good for the begining of Operation Barbarossa. This is my favorite paint scheme. I have now started a British Army Gazelle helicopter for my modern British.
10/12/21: Next quartet of ME. 109s are done. These are in a Battle of Britain scheme. They are still by Raiden Miniatures. These may be found on the German page under the "more" tab. I am now working on the last quartet.
10/6/21: Some lower humidity levels have aloud me to complete the first of my ME. 109s. I have 12 aircraft equal a full squadron, so I am doing 3 quartets of ME 109s; each in a different paint scheme. These first are in a Battle of France 1940 scheme. These models are by Raiden Miniatures sold by I-94 Enterprises. Raidens are my favorite aircraft miniatures. These may be found on the German page under the "more" tab.
10/1/21: New month, new aircraft, new page. Under the "more" tab you will find my new Grrek aircraft page. Here you will find pictures of my first Greek aircraft; a Potez XXV. This is the last of the current models by Shapeways that I have. I have now started some German Me. 109s.
9/22/21: Some new German aircraft done. Under the "more" tab on the German page you will find pictures of one of my completed DO. 217s. These models are by MSD Games. I am now working on some RAF Chinooks for my Moderns.
9/19/21: In my continuing pursuit of the esoteric I have obtained a Shapeways model of an aircraft that I have liked the looks of since I was a kid and obtained a copy of "Bombers of WWII 1939-45" by William Munson. Under the Dutch section you will find pictures of the Douglas DB-8A-3N light bomber. Only 18 of these aircraft were ever produced. I am now working on some German DO. 217s.
9/13/21: Once again, I completed a model a couple of days ago and needed to wait for low humidity to dulcote it. I have completed a Caproni Ca. 313; the pictures of which you will find on the Italian page under the "more" tab. This is another Shapeways model.
9/5/21: I completed these the other day, but finally have had time to post. Under the Commonwealth page you will find pictures of an eaxmple of a RAF Hawker Hector. I feel so sorry for the guys that flew these. These were relegated to use as utility aircraft by 1940, however the ones in France were bombed up and thrown in against the German arnored breakout during the Battle of France in the vain attempt to stop the German Panzers. This is a Shapeways model and I think that they came out very nice.
8/26/21: Another one done. On the Italian page under the "more" tab you will find pictures of an Italian Caproni Ca. 309. This is a Shapeways model.
8/22/21: So another break in the humidity before the rain and hurricane roll in has allowed me to complete another group of aircraft. Under the Commonwealth page you will find pictures of a British Hawker Hardy. This is a Shapeways model.
8/16/21: Last aircraft type that Christofer Geisert and I-94 Enterprises assembled and painted for me were some French Amiot 143. These are Heroics & Ros models. They may been seen on the French page under the "more" tab.
8/15/21: Up next is another item assembled and painted for me by Christopher Geisert at I-94 Enterprises. It is a Vichy French Breguet 521. These pictures may be found on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab. Again this is a model by Heroics and Ros.
8/14/21: I received some more planes back from Christopher Geisert that he assembled and painted for me. First up is a French Breguet 521. This a huge model. It is by Heroics & Ros. Pictures may be found on the French page under the "more" tab.
8/13/21: Another comleted model. The latest is a German DO. 26. This is a shapeways model and the pictures may be found on the German page under the "more" tab.
8/9/21: Another Potez XXV variant has been completed. This one in RAF markings. The British captured some in their 1941 campaign in Syria and pressed them into service. This scheme is a tad speculative as I could not find any pictures of British ones online. What I did was painted one is a Vichy French scheme from Syria and just painted over the french stripes on the tail and applied British markins. This is another Shapewase model. They may be found under the Commonwealth tab.
8/4/21: The nice weather has allowed me to complete more. In the Vichy French section under the "more" tab, you will find another Potez XXV from Shapeways. This one in a Vichy French scheme.
8/3/21: Latest WWII aircraft is done this is a French Potez XXV. The model is from Shapeways and can be located on the French page under the"more" tab. There is something Fokker D VIIish in it's look to me. I wish that these models were available in a smoother material.
7/24/21: So with another break in the humidity and storms I have been able to complete some more models. Now up under the French section under the "more" tab are pictures of a MB. 152. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. Shortly I will also be able to post another aircraft type I have finished a German JU. 90.
9:20 Update: The JU. 90 pictures have been added under the German section under the "more tab". This is a Shapeways model. I am now working on a Royal Navy Seaking for my moderns.
9:20 Update: The JU. 90 pictures have been added under the German section under the "more tab". This is a Shapeways model. I am now working on a Royal Navy Seaking for my moderns.
7/17/21: It has been raining or above a 70% humidty for about 2 weeks now. Did have a slight break so was able to complete some Bristol Bleinhems. These are by Raiden Miniatures. The twist and here is where I go way off course they are done as Finnish aircraft.
7/7/21: Finally had a day where the humidty was NOT over 70% and was able to dulcote my Breguet 693s. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures through I-94 Enterprises and are very nice models. They may be found on the French page under the "more" tab.
6/26/21: Another Italian aircraft model by Shapeways completed. The pictures are up of my Italian BA.88. I really like they way that these came out. I think that the aircraft was really nice looking. Clearly it did not perform as well as hoped for in the intended ground attack role as the Italians quicly started using them as decoys on airfields. The pictures may be found on the Italian page under the "more tab". When I was out of work I was gifted some Raiden miniatures. Due to this I will be going a little out of my intended order of what fronts I'm working on and it will hop around a little. I have therefore started now to work on some French Breguet 693s. In my opinion the Raiden Miniatures are the best miniature aircraft in 1/285 scale out there. They newer miniatures put out by Dave Winfree at I-94 are incredible!
6/18/21: Some new pictures are up. I have completed my Italian CA.133 a neat plane from the 30s. This is a Shapeways model. It may be seen on the Italian page under the "more" tab. I am now working on some Italian BA. 88s.
6/13/21: Now that all of the fans and drying equipment is out of my house, I have been unable to uncover my painting table, cleared od the desk in my train room and painted there for the 1st time in about 20 years. Lighting is not quite as good but I finished my French Potez 63.11 fighters. These models are by Heroics and Ros and their pictures may be seen on the French page under the "more" tab. I am now working on an Italian CA.133.
6/4/21: 79th anniversary of the Battle of Midway. Turning point in the Pacific in WWII. Last but not least of the miniatures that I had assembled and painted by Miscellaneous Miniatures is a British Saro Londa Flying Boat. The model once again is from Heroics & Ros. It may be found under the Commonwealth tab. These are the last pictures that I will have to post until the water damage in my house is repaired and my painting table reopens.
6/3/21: More Italian pictures for your viewing pleasure. Another Heroics and Ros Miniatute that I had done by Miscellaneous Miniatures. I really like how this SM.82 came out. It may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab.
6/1/21: A new day and new pictures of minis that I had done for me by Miscelaneous Miniatures. They are an Italian SM-81. The model is by Heroics and Ros and the pictures may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab.
5/31/21: Memorial Day 2021. Please take a moment to remember those who have given their lives for this nation. Latest pictures that I have added today are of a Vichy French Bloch 175. Once again the model is by Heroics & Ros and may be found under the Vichy French page under the "more" tab.
5/30/21: New day, new pictures. Featured is more beutiful work that Miscellaneous Miniatures did for me. Here we have a Vichy French F.222 on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab. Once again the model is by Heroics and Ros.
5/29/21: I have posted pictures of another model assebled and painted for me by Miscellaneous Miniatures. It is a Heroocs and Ros Vichy French Latecore 298. It may be found on the Vichy French page under the "more" tab.
5/28/21: My painting table may be temporarily closed, but I can still post pictures of models that I had done by Miscellaneous Miniatures. Up now are pictures of an Italian Ca-310. The model is by Heroics and Ros. Please see the Italian page under the "more" tab.
5/27/21: Well, thanks to a leaking dishwasher that damaged the kitchen and basement area below, the paiting table is closed for the near future. The last I tems I got finished are my French Potez 631s. Pictures of them may be found on the French page under the "more" tab. These models are by Heroics and Ros.
5/24/21: The 80th anniversary of the sinking of the HMS Hood by Bismarck. The Potez 631s are just drying from dulcoting. In the meantime I have posted pictures of a RO-57 that I did. The model is from Heroics and Ros and the pictures are on the Italian page under the "more" tab.
5/23/21: The Potez 631s are done just letting decals dry and then they will be dulcoted. I have now started some Potez 63.11s. In the meantime I will post some more pitures of some saircraft that I once again had done by Miscellaneous Miniatures. Under the Italian page under the "more" tab you will find pictures of both a land based and sea plane version of the RO-37. Both are from Shapeways.
5/22/21: Up next is a picture of another Heroics and Ros model assembled and Painted by Miscellaneous Miniatures from when they were taking commisions. It is an Italian Z501 and the picture may be found on the Italian page under the "more" tab. Still working on the Potez 631s.
5/21/21: My completed Bloch 131 pictures are now up on the French page under the "more" tab. Once again this is a Heroics & Ros model. Currently I am now working on some Potez 631s.
5/20/21: Some more H&R model pictures are up. Ones that require assembly I routinely send them out to be done and that was done in the case of these two models. They are a German He-59 and French F.222. Their pictures are able to be found on their respective pages under the "more" tab. These were assembled and painted by Christopher Geisert at I-94 Enterprises.
5/19/21: My Bloch 131 is drying from dullcoting and pictures will be up in a day or two. In the meantine I've posted pictures of a French Latecore 298 from Herics and Ros. This was assembled and painted by Miscellaneous Miniatures way back before the plague when they were still taking commisions. Pictures to be found on the French page under the "more" tab.
5/13/21: Next up we have a Bloch 174 again from H&R. It's interesting that so many French aircraft looked so similar(ie Bloch 174, Potez 631, Potez 63.11 and Breguet 693 look similar). Its pictures may be found in the French section under the "more" tab. Next up is a Bloch 131.
5/8/21: Knocked out some French LN 401 dive bombers. These are a;so by Heroics and Ros and I think a neat looking aircraft. Pictures on on the French page under the"more" tab.
5/7/21: The height of the Battle of Coral Sea. I've swung back to painting little planes by working on a small stash of French aircraft that I bought from Heroics and Ros when they first reopened after the COVID lockdown. First up is an Amiot 354. These are pretty blah scupls and not one of H&Rs best; but it is the only one on the market. For pictures please see the French section under the "more" tab.
12/11/20: Finished the last of the WWII aircraft that I currently have in house. Pictures of my Italian CA. 311s may be seen under the Italian Section under the "more" tab. These models are from Shapeways.
12/10/20: Remembering those lost on the Prince of Wales and Repulse 79 years ago today. Todays work is a German HE-114. The pictures are in the Germany section under the "more" tab. The model is from Shapeways.
12/6/20: So as I randomly paint stuff off of the painting pile I completed a Royal Navy Swordfish floatplane. The model is from Shapeways and its pictures may be found under the Commonwealth tab.
9/13/20: So over the weekend I got my Do-18 done. It's pictures are in the German section under the "more" tab. This miniature is from Shapeways. I've also been working on some of my 1/2400 scale WWII naval miniatures. My next plane will be a Swordfish Float Plane.
9/10/20: The pictures are now up of my He-115 on the German page under the "more" tab. This was done Monday, but have not had time to post. This model is from Shapeways. I have now started a German Do-18.
9/2/20: Ok, finally have had time to post the pictures of the Re. 2002's. These may be found under the Italian section under the "more" tab. These models are from MSD Games. I am now currently working on an He. 115.
8/30/20: Well the Italian Re. 2002's are not quite finished, they still need a few touch ups on dulcoting shiny areas. I have however completed the Japanese B4Y. This is a Shapeways Model. The pictures can be found under The Japanese tab. This completes my Pacific Theater aircraft. This aircraft were deployed on the IJN Carrier Hosho at the Battle of Midway in 1942. The well known photographs of the burning Hiryu were taken from one of these aircraft.
8/29/20: My RAF Fortress I was completed Thursday and I was able to get it dullcoted before all of this rain. This is a miniature by MSD Games. It's pictures may be seen under the Commonwealth tab. In the mean time I have a pair of Italian Re. 2002's that are just awaiting dullcote and have a Japanese B4Y nearing completion.
8/21/20: My first attempt at Italian camouflages are done with the completion of my BA. 65's. While not as nice of a paint job as was done on other Italian aircraft that I have that were done by Miscellaneous Miniatures when they were still painting, I think they came out well enough. These models are by MSD Miniatures. I am now working on an RAF Fortress I.
8/19/20: I have completed my other two Japanese models for collective purposes. They are a Ki=84 and Ki-67. They are both by Raiden Miniatures and may be found under my Japanese section. I have now started some Italian Ba. 65's.
8/17/20: The first two models that are really just for collective purposes are a Japanese B6N and N1K1 both of which can be found under the Japanese section. As these are not for gaming there are no magnets on them. Both models are by Raiden Miniatures. I am now working on a Japanese Ki-67 and Ki-84, again both for collective purposes.
8/15/20: The French M. 167's are done and their pictures are up on the French section under the "more" tab. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. I have now started a group of planes that I will not use for games, as they are just some of the late war Japanese aircraft that I like.
8/12/20: I've completed the Dutch C-IX-W. A neat little sea plane. This miniature is by Shapeways. This almost completes my Pacific Theater models. I have now started working on some French Martin 167s.
8/11/20: Being a lover of the esoteric, I have wanted to get the next 3 planes for years, but no one made models of them. However the US SOC Seagull a and the Dutch Fokker T-IV as well as the Dutch Fokker C-IX-W are now available on Shapeways. I have completed the US SOC Seagull which may be found under the USA tab and the Dutch T-IV which is under the Dutch tab. I am now working on the Dutch C-IX-W.
8/7/20: Ok, what is it with the Germans and HUGE aircraft? Up under the "more" tab in the German section you will fing pictures of my JU 290. If you again go under the "more" tab and into the Italian section you will find pictures of my completed CA. 314's. Normally I love Italian aircraft, but I think that these are some ugly little planes. Both models are by MSD Games. My next couple of aircraft will be ones that I waited years to be produced on Shapeways. First up is the US SOC Seagull.
8/6/20: Some more German flying boats have been completed. Now in the Germany section under the "more" tab are pictures of a DO 24 and BV 138. These miniatures are by MSD Games. I also have a JU 290 that is jut awaiting some dulcote to be completed. I am now working on some Italian CA. 314s.
8/3/20: A new update to the site. I have completed a Japanese G8N. Only 4 prototypes of this aircraft were completed. I have painted this one as Prototype #1. Once again the miniature is by MSD Games. The pictures have been added under the Japanese tab. I am now returning to some more German flying boats.
8/2/20: Some weekend painting is finished. I have completed the Zweilling, HE 177 & FW 200 thare are all by MSD Games and their pictures are in the Germany section under the "more" tab. Currently I am now working on a Japanese G8N.
7/30/20: My latest aircraft are done and pictures are up under the German section under the "more" tab. The first is a resin model of a ME 323. This model is by I-94 Enterprises. I'm a bit disappointed in the model in that there are no spinner caps on the engines. The second is a BV 222. This model is by MSD Miniatures. These were the largest flying boats ever to be put in to production in the world during the WWII period. These two models are massive. I have now started working on some other large German aircraft; a FW 200, HE 177 and a Zweilling.
7/29/20: The Italian JU-87s are complete and their pictures are up under the Italian Section under the "more" tab. I'm now working on some giants; an ME-323 and BV 222. Should have them completed by the weekend. The JU-87s are by Raiden Miniatures.
7/26/20: Knocked out some Vichy French Martin 167s. These models are by Raiden Miniatures and the photos may be found in the Vichy French section under the "more" tab. My Shapeways Order still has one more miniature to print before it compleats. Currently I have started some Italian JU-87s.
7/18/20: I have now completed my US Corsairs. While I think that the miniatures came out good. I am unhappy with the decals by GHQ. The stars not white. There is just a white stripe across the decal which works fine I guess when against a light color( see pictures of the underside of the aircraft); however against the dark blue all that shows is just the stripe. The miniatures are by Raiden. I am now working on a UK Maryland which is almost done. Please see the USA Aircraft tab.
5:00 update: The UK Maryland is complete and pictures are up under the Commonwealth tab. This miniature is also by Raiden. I have also completed my first German Aircraft. An Arado 196. It is just being dulcoted, Pictures to follow. Sorry for the offset pictures. If you click on the picture it brings up a full picture.
8:00 Update: I have completed my very first German aircraft. It is an AR-196 by MSD Miniatures. See my new German Section under the "more" tab. That's it for now until some aircraft on order arrive. I have some Martin 167s, JU-87s and an ME-323 coming from Raiden Miniatures and a US SOC Seagull and Dutch T-IV and C-XIW's coming from Shapeways which will complete my Pacific forces. Last but not least a BV-222 from MSD Miniatures.

7/15/20: Under the Japanese Aircraft page you will find my latest addition to the site. KI-61. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures. I am now working on some F4U Corsairs.
7/13/20: Second Batch of SB-2's are complete. These are the later version with a turret. These models are by Raiden Miniatures. There are in the Soviet Union section under the "more" tab. Next up; some Japanese KI-61's.
7/9/20: Completed the first batch of Soviet SB-2s. This is the early version with no turret. The pictures are under the Soviet Union section under the "More" tab. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures. These are done in a very basic paint scheme(all natural metal) and the grey for the canopies almost totally blend in with the silver. A very basic paint scheme, but hey; I didn't paint the prototypes. I am now working on a batch of later version SB-2s with a turret.
7/7/20: Some more completed planes. Just added pictures of the ANZAC Boomerang. These models are by MSD Miniatures. They are under the Commonwealth tab. I am now working on some Soviet SB-2's.
5/16/20: The last quartet of the I-16s are done. These are painted as being from the 22nd IAP. Still by Raiden Miniatures. They are on the Soviet Union section under the "More" tab.
5/15/20: The next quartet of I-16s have been completed. They are from an unidentified IAP. I took these schemes from the book "In the Skies Over Nomonhan." They are on the Soviet Union section under the "More" tab.
5/14/20: Last night I finished my 1st Soviet I-16s. I'm 3 groups of 4 from 3 different squadrons. These are all by Raiden Miniatures. 1st up 70th IAP. See the Soviet Union Section under the "More" tab.
5/12/20: With nicer weather I was finally able to Dulcote the remaining I-15bis'. They are done with a slightly different paint scheme for a different squadron. The are on the Soviet Union page under the "More" tab. All of the I-15bis' are from Raiden Miniatures.
5/4/20: As promised I have returned with planes with the Soviet I-15bis under the "More" tab. These are Raiden Miniatures. I have completed the first 6 of 12.
7/2/19: I have completed my Soviet I-153s and the pictures are up on the Soviet page under the "more" tab. I am painting whatever I have in my lead pile and these are the last of the WWII aircraft that I have at this time. I will move on to some other periods for now. When I come back to WWII aircraft the next ones that I intend to do are Soviet I-15bis'.
6/30/19: The French Bloch MB 210s were completed yesterday and the pictures are now up at the top of the French page under the "more' TAB. These miniatures are by Heroics & Ros. I am now working on some Soviet I-153s. These models are by Scotia. These are sold as the I-15 but do not have the fixed landing gear that the I-15 had. The I-153 had the inverted wing of the I-15 with retractable landing gear so these work perfectly for the I-153. This way both my Chinese and Soviet I-1532 match. The first 6 are done and just waiting to be dull coated. I am now working on the second batch of 6. Pictures will be posted once the dull coating is complete and dried.
6/21/19: Pictures of the Vichy French LeO 451 are up at the top of their page(Under the "more" tab). These models are by Scotia. I am now starting some French Block MB-210s.
6/12/19: The French LeO 451s are done. Their picture is at the top of the French Section (Under More). These are Scotia models. Up next Vichy French LeO 451s.
6/6/19: The 75th Anniversary. Pictures of the Vichy French D. 520s are up at the top of the Vichy French page (Under the "More" tab). These models are by Scotia. These were actually done 3 days ago, but I had to wait until it stopped raining and the humidity was low enough to dulcote them. I am now working on some French LEO 451s.
6/1/19: French D. 520's are now done with their pictures up at the top of the French Aircraft page under the "More" tab. These are Scotia models. I am now working on the last Chinese I-15bis/I-152 which I have received the replacement part for. I will not be posting a picture of this when completed as I am painting like the example in the last pictures posted for the I-15bis/I-152. I am also working currently on some Vichy French D. 520's.
5/29/19: The last version of the Chinese I-15bis/I-152 is up at the top of their page. I received the replacement part for the last I-15bis/I-152 and the model is being primed. The French D. 520s are about 75% done.
5/26/19: Starting to put pictures of the Chinese I-15bis/I-152. I'm painting 12 of these. 6 are done. 5 are dull coating and one is waiting for a replacement of a mist cast piece. I will post picture of the 3 different paint schemes that I have completed that 4th will go up tomorrow. These miniatures are by Raiden. They are a simple 3 piece model with landing gear molded on to the engine piece and the struts molded as a part of the top wing piece. The pictures are at the top of the Chinese page under "More". I have now started some French D. 520s.
5/25/19: Painting some Iranian aircraft for my moderns has inspired me to do some WWII aircraft. First up are some Chinese R-5 Light Bomber/Recce aircraft. The models are by Heroics & Ros and are assembled, painted and decaled by Miscellaneous Miniatures. https://miscmini.com/. The pictures are at the top of the Chinese page(under"More"). At the top of the Commonwealth Page is a British C-47. These models are by Scotia Miniatures. I am now currently working on some Soviet TB-3 Bombers. There is something about the archaic look of these planes that I just love.
10:00PM Update: TB-3s are done and pictures are up on the top of the Soviet Union page. These models are by Scotia. I have now started some Chinese I-15bis/I-152 Fighters.
7/1/18: Well today I felt like painting some planes. it's been a long time. The KI-57s are almost done. Just need to decal and dullcote. In the meantime I have added pictures of some Italian CANT Z1007s painted and decaled by Miscellaneous Miniatures. https://miscmini.com/. They are by Meusem miniatures and can be found under the CANT Z1007 section of the Italian page.
3:30 Update: Ki-57 Topsy pictures are up. These miniatures are by Heroics & Ros. They are at the top of the Japanese Aircraft page.
9:50 Update: Ok, last one for the day. The C-46 pictures are up at the top of the US Aircraft page. This is an early war Paint scheme. These miniatures are by Scotia. Now I am working on some British C-47s.

12/30/16: Happy New Year! Almost. Back to painting some planes. Pictures are up of a Japanese KI-36 Ida. Top of the Japanese Aircraft page. I'm not entirely happy with how this model turned out. I need to thank Fatman from TMP noticing this on Shapeways and letting me know. This is a Recce/Light attack aircraft from the 1930's. I am now currently working on some Japanese KI-57 Topsys.
7/9/16: The Chinese I-16s are completed. They are at the top of the Chinese page(under the "more" drop down). These miniatures are by Raiden. A strange thing is happening right now. My aircraft lead pile is empty. I do not know how I allowed this to happen. Fear not though; an order of Scotia models are on the way.
7/3/16: I have completed the Chinese I-153s. The pictures are at the top of the Chinese page(under the "more" tab). No one makes a true I-153 yet. Raiden is supposed to release one in August. These models are by Scotia. These are sold as the I-15 but do not have the fixed landing gear that the I-15 had. The I-153 had the inverted wing of the I-15 with retractable landing gear so these work perfectly for the I-153. I am now working on Chinese I-16s. There is something about the look of the little Soviet fighters that I absolutely love.
6/22/16: Barbarosa! Hello! My Japanese E8N Dave and my pair of Alfs (one an E7K1 and the other an E7K2) are completed and the pictures are up at the top of the Japanese page. These are all by Shapeways and I think that they came out very well. I have now started some I-153s for the Chinese.
6/15/16: Ok, the pictures of the completed USMC F4F Wildcats are up at the top of the US page. These miniatures are by Raiden Miniatures. Up next are a Japanese E8N Dave and a pair of E7K Alfs. They are being primed.
6/9/16: The R-10s are completed and added under the Soviet Union page(under the "more" drop down). These are by Shapeways. I have now started a group of USMC F4F Wildcats. These will take me a little while as there are 9 to paint.
6/8/16: More pictures added. At the top of the Italian Aircraft page(under the "more" drop down) I have added a picture of Italian CR-32s again done by Miscellaneous Miniatures. They're are by Heroics and Ros. I have not had a chance to work on the R-10s since Monday. Hope to have them done by the end of the weekend.
6/6/16: Honoring the 72nd Anniversary. After a long hiatus I have resumed painting planes. First I have created a page entitled Soviet Union (under the "more" drop down). On it are pictures of some Soviet R-5s and a MBR-2 done for me by Miscellaneous Miniatures. Their website address is: www.miscmini.com/ . Also at the top of the Commonwealth page are the pictures of the finally completed ANZAC P-40Fs. The R-5s and MBR-2 are by Heroics and Ros. The P-40Fs are by Raiden miniatures. I am now currently working on some Soviet R-10 Recce/ Light Bombers. I hope to have them done by the end of the week.
11/10/15: Happy 240th Birthday to my brothers and sisters. As an update the ANZAC P-40s are progressing very slowly.
10/15/15: The US P-38G pictures are up at the top of the US page. The miniatures are by Raiden. The next batch of models will be ANZAC P-40F.
10/8/15: Ok, the US P-400s are done, These models are by Scotia. This was an easy conversion. I just bought Scotia P-39s so that they would look different from my Raiden ones, paint in a different scheme and "poof" they are P-400s. Their pictures are at the top of the US page. I have now almost completed a group of US P-38Fs. They are just awaiting decals. Pictures will be posted once decaled and dull coated.
10/5/15: The RE 2000 pictures are up on the top of the Italian page. They are by Scotia. Next I am working on some US P-400s.
10/4/15: Well, I'm back. I have added some Japanese KI-10 Perrys to the top of their page. They are by Heroics & Ros. They were painted by Miscellaneous Miniatures at miscmini.com. Weebly has changed how its website now works and now instead of the pictures in a row accross a single slide show will be shown. I have completed some Italian RE. 2000's from Scotia. They are just awaiting some dull coating. They will be up shortly.
1/31/15: The US P-39s have been completed and the picture are up at the top of the US page. These are by Raiden and are one of there newest releases having been released in December. They are fantastic with lots of detail. I'm going to take a little break for now, but when return to painting planes I will start off with some Italian RE 2000s. Ill keep you posted.
1/24/15: The USN SBDs are done and pictures are up at the top of the US page. They are by Raiden. Next to be painted are US P-39s.
1/15/15: Pictures of the game and AAR are posted on my gaming groups page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/413920742098563/417472895076681/?notif_t=group_activity
The SBDs are coming along. Need to finish touch ups, then decaling and last but not least dullcote. Should be done either this weekend or early next week.

1/11/15: Pictures of the S79 and CANT Z1007 are up at the top of the Italian page. I did not like the green that I used on the P. 108. My research shows that it should be a darker green so I used one. The next project is USN SBD Dauntless'. Well last night we restarted our air campaign. The game was an American Bombing mission over Taiwan 12/41. The US raiding force was 12 P-40E, 3 B-17 C/D. 2 US B-18A and a Philipino B-10. 12 Japanese KI-27 Nates were defending the airfield. My friend has started a group on Facebook for our gaming group and once the AAR is completed the AAR and pictures will be posted on it. I'm checking with him to see if nonmembers can view the pictures. If not ask me Tom Talasco, or Mark Lurz to join the group. Once set I will post a link here.
1/2/15: Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a good set of holidays. The P-66 pictures are up at the top of the Chinese page. These are produced by PT Dockyard. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in these models. I have always heard really good things about PT Dockyard on TMP. These were a resin casting of some sort. Not the best quality, lots of flash, some air pockets and the detail was a little lacking. They are however the only P-66s on the market. These are the only aircraft produced by PT Dockyard so maybe they are more difficult to produce then the ships that make up the basis of their other lines. My next project is some Italian SM-79s and CANTZ-1007. I only wish that someone would also produce a model of the single fin version of this aircraft to go with the twin tailed ones.
11/15/14: New pictures are up at the top of the Italian page. I have completed the Italian P.108 bombers. They are by Heroics & Ros. These are big planes and unfortunately when I glued the magnet on I placed it to far forward. When these models are used for gaming I will need to use a second stand under the rear of the model. The next project is Chinese P-66 Vanguard fighters.
11/11/14: First off, Happy Veterans day to our veterans and thank you for your service. For my brother Marines happy 239th yesterday. Pictures now up of my completed USN F4F Wildcats by Raiden Miniatures at the top of the USA page. Next to be painted are Italian P.108 bombers.
11/7/14: Ok, decided to go with more planes. Pictures up at the top of the Chinese page of Chinese SB2 bombers by Raiden. I am now working on USN F4F Wildcats. I'm also adding a picture here for those not familiar with the 1/285 scale showing a comparison in size between an Italian CR-42 and a US quarter.
10/26/14: At last I have been able to post the pictures of my USMC SBDs. They are at the top of the US page. These are produced by Raiden Miniatures. Next I'm trying to decide to either create my page for my 6MM Modern Micro Armor or work on more planes. If more planes they will be Chinese SB-2s. I'll keep you all posted.
10/11/14: A person who follows this blog asked that when I list the aircraft that I also list who the manufacturer of the model is, so I will do so. For the ones already posted, here is the break down:

I have also done ANZAC Wirraways that are now ready for decals. Depending on when I get some more free time, I will either finish the US F2A's(needed blue due to arrive tomorrow) or start some RAF Bombays.
7/22/14: Still to hot & humid to dullcote the B5ns & B-25s. The US F2As are on hold as my US Navy Blue has dried up and I have had to order more. Now starting something totally new: Italian Cant Z506.
7/21/14: I have completed the Japanese Land Based B5Ns and also some ANZAC B-25's I'm just waiting for cooler temperatures and humidity to be able to dullcote them. Once that occurs I will be able to post pictures. I have now begun a batch of US F2A Buffalos.

2/14/14 UPDATE: Chinese B-25 Pictures up. Next project is RAF Gladiators.
02/19/14 RAF Gladiators are done and pictures posted. Next project is Flying Tigers P-40s. I was actually able to get some sharkmouth decals from Bill Moreno the proprietor of The Cracker Line Miniatures. His web address is http://www.crackerlineminis.com/cracker-line-miniatures.html . He does not carry them, but when I posted about trying to locate some on TMP he fortunately responded that he had a set and sent them to me. So if your interested in 10mm ACW figures check out Bill's figures.
02/23/14: The Flying Tiger P-40s are in the process of being dullcoted. Most anyway. I'm short the decals for Chinese National Insignia for 3 of the 12 I painted. Those three will be decaled once I receive more from Dom's decals. I will have pictures up in a day or two of exaples of one from each squadron of the AVG. In the meantime I have started Chinese IL-4s. As these are bombers they use a bigger decal and I have enough of those.
2/23/14 UPDATE: Flying Tiger P-40 pictures are posted.
02/26/14: The Chinese IL-4s are ready for dullcote. Once dry pictures will be posted. The next batch of planes are some Chinese CW-22s. I will have these painted by the end of the weekend I think, but will then have to wait for the decals that I'm waiting for from Doms Decals before I can complete and dullcote them. Next month my friends and I are going to be trying to start a campaign game set in South East Asia, The Dutch East Indies and the Philippines. It will run 12/1941 to end 4/1942 in weekly rounds. We will be using the rule set "Scramble!" by A and A Games. I'm going to add a page for pictures to show our progress. I will make this a blog page for comments. My current projects and the ones in the near future are for aircraft for use in that campaign or the fleshing out of existing squadrons for the campaign.
02/26/14 UPDATE: The Chinese CW-22s are painted and will need to wait for the decals before I can complete them. I have now started some additional A5Ms to flesh out my A5M flight. I will not post pictures of these as they will be painted to match the ones I already have a picture up for. The Ryujo Air Group.
02/27/14: Chinese IL-4 pictures are up.
03/01/14: Still working on the A5Ms, but I just also received a B-18A off of Shapeways that I'm working on too. Pictures of it will be posted when completed. Just finished washing the model. It is now being primed. Neat addition for the upcoming campaign.
03/02/14: The A5Ms are being dullcoted. I am still working on the B-18a and have also started some RAF Lysanders. When checking Shapeways again yesterday, I either did not search well initially or they have now released a B-18 & B-18a in a flying position. The current B-18a that I have looks like it's sitting on the ground. I ordered a B-18 in flight. Should have that model by the end of the week I should think.
3/4/14: The B-18a is being dullcoted. Should have a picture up tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. I am still working on the Lysanders. The regular B-18 that I ordered should arrive tomorrow. I will paint that after the Lysanders are finished.
3/5/14: B-18a pictures are up. The regular B-18 did not arrive today. Maybe tomorrow. Am still working on the RAF Lysanders. I expect them to be done by the end of this weekend.
03/07/14: Lysander pictures are up! Now working on a few Hawker Hurricanes to flesh out my Hurricane squadron for the campaign. As I already have examples of these posted, I will not be posting pictures of these when done. My airborne B-18 arrived from Shapeways today and it is currently soaking in soapy water to clean off any chemicals from the printing process. I have found that this is needed to help the primer and paint set and dry on models from Shapeways. I anticipate completing the Hurricanes and B-18 tomorrow.
3/8/14: Wow! What a full day of painting. Today I completed the Hurricanes, some Chinese DB-3s to flesh out my flight of them for the campaign(painted the same as the ones that there is already a picture of on the site, so no new pics to post of these) & a B-18. The dullcote is almost dry on the B-18 so I will have the pictures of it up either later tonight or tomorrow morning. Now am working on something totally new and different. I am now working on a batch of Vichy French MS 406s. I have always loved the Vichy French paint schemes since I was a kid. They are so colorful! They should be completed tomorrow and pics of those should be up tomorrow as well. Next up after them will be an American B-24 in a different paint scheme(still early war), a RAF LB-30 & a Chinese HS-123.
UPDATE: B-18 pictures uploaded.
UPDATE: B-18 pictures uploaded.
03/09/14: A good painting weekend. Pictures of the Vichy French MS-406s are up!. Waiting for dullcote to dry on the US B-24. The Chinese HS-123 is done except that I'm still waiting for my Nationalist Chinese insignia from Dom's Decals. Should most likely be here this week and then I'll be able to decal, dullcote and complete the rest of my AVG P-40s, as well as my Chinese CW-22s and HS-123. Once done I will post pictures of the CW-22s and HS-123. The British LB-30 should be done tomorrow night. A little painted out now so taking a little break for the rest of the day.
UPDATE: US B-24 pictures added.

3/24/14: The Dullcote is drying on the Dutch DB7s. I have begun a batch of RAF B-25s. We had the first session of our campaign Saturday. Took an incredibly long time to play one mission as we ramped up on knowing the rules and setting up. Remember this is an early war campaign set in the Philippines, Dutch East Indies and Malaya/Burma. The short synopsis of the mission is an American Recon mission over Formosa to try to get an extra bombing mission in for the round to destroy planes on the ground. It consisted of a PBY escorted by 12 P-40Es. We were intercepted by 12 KI-27s. Losses were 5 KI-27s shot down and one a campaign write off due to damage once it returned to base. 10 P-40s were shot down with another a campaign write off due to damage. The PBY was successful in obtaining photos of the airfield, but we could not get it off of a table edge that guaranteed a safe return to base due to enemy fighters starting to swarm it and we failed the 50-50 die roll for it making it back to base. A detailed AAR will be posted once completed by my friend Jim.
3/25/14: Pictures of the Dutch DB7 is up. http://tomswargaming.weebly.com/wwii-dutch-aircraft.html Bottom of the page.
3/28/14: Well for some reason the site will not publish live the AAR and pictures. Therefore I have deleted the page.
3/25/14; I received the French decals that I was waiting for from Dom's Decals so: Pictures for the other style of Vichy French MS-406 are up at the bottom of the page: http://tomswargaming.weebly.com/french-wwii-aircraft.html . Also up are RAF B-25C pictures at the bottom of their page: http://tomswargaming.weebly.com/wwii-commonwealth-aircraft.html . Last but not least are pictures of the aircraft to be used in our next Campaign game. Currently working on some RAF Wellingtons.
